PROUD PUSSY: Red, White, And Blue All of my models, like I am sure all other women, have stories about their periods. Maybe their cycle started too soon, the amount was unexpected, or even worse, never came at all. I’ve heard dozens of these stories, most being embarrassing, funny, or shocking due to the environment in which they happened. These tales have either been retold a thousand times or never admitted to another living soul, but they all happen every day. More often then not, I’m told these things with the preface of “I hope I won’t gross you out…” This has never made sense to me, seeing as how I view menstrual cycles the same way I do childbirth and breastfeeding, as the purely natural acts that they are. It’s frustrating when I hear guys be derogatory about such things, especially when it’s something us wimpy males will never have to deal with.
